Ajou University in Tashkent hosted an educational and spiritual awareness meeting with students on the theme “Combating Ignorance Through Enlightenment.”
The event was attended by a representative of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Jakhongir Melikuziev, and Senior Lecturer at the UNESCO Department of Religious Studies and Comparative Study of World Religions, Mr. Nurilla Turambetov.
During the meeting, students learned about the importance of religious tolerance and enlightenment, as well as the nature and key aspects of missionary activities.
Special attention was given to fostering independent thinking among young people, strengthening their spiritual resilience, and encouraging a thoughtful and informed attitude toward different ideas.
An enlightened youth is the foundation of a strong society.
