Why AUT

    AUT was established in the spring, 2021 to nurture highly qualified personnel in accordance with the prospects for socio-economic development of Uzbekistan by the agreement between the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Republic of Uzbekistan and Ajou University, Republic of Korea, based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP.4041, November 30th, 2018.  AUT opens 7 majors - architecture, interior design, civil systems engineering, and computer & electrical engineering, IT business, English Philology and Management, Korean Philology and Management and provides 4-year daytime undergraduate courses, which are taught exclusively in English.

    Ajou University is a leading research university, especially in engineering, in Korea and has been ranked 11th among 200 four-year Korean universities consecutively for 2 years from 2018~2019 by the Joong-Ang Daily Newspaper, the most prestigious university ranking organization in Korea. At the same time, Ajou University is also ranked 531st in the QS world university ranking. (Only a few universities are within the QS world ranking 1000 in Uzbekistan)

    Ajou University, established in 1973, under the motto of “Asia's Best University for the 21st century”, is located in Suwon, about 30 km south of Seoul, where the headquarters of ‘Samsung Electronics’ is only 4km away.  Ajou has 14,000 students (10,000 undergraduates, 4,000 graduates) in 11 colleges and 14 graduate schools. The strength of Ajou’s academic programs and research lies in Engineering, IT, Medical Science, Business, and International Studies.
