The Rector of AUT, G. Muratov, participated in the 2nd "K-Water Society" international conference of Korea.
At the conference, the issues of increasing water efficiency, water treatment, and purification in the regions of Uzbekistan, as well as preventing the expected water shortage in Central Asian countries, were discussed.
During the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between AUT, Korea's "K-Water" organization, and the "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University. It was agreed that the organizations would establish cooperation under the signed MoU.
At the end of the conference, the winners of the "Water Innovation Competition" contest awarded. In particular, the students of AUT were awarded the "Future Star Award" nomination
