On April 25, 2023, a delegation headed by the executive director of the Korean Energy Agency, Mr. Ju Myoung Seon, visited Ajou University in Tashkent to establish mutual cooperation in the training of personnel in the field of energy.
During the visit, the establishment of the "Energy Expert Training Center" was discussed at Ajou University in Tashkent.
In order to increase energy efficiency in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the center organizes short-term training courses for the improvement of the qualifications of specialists working in the energy sector.
With the participation of Korean guests, a ceremony was held to launch the solar energy technology (40 kW solar panel) installed in the university area in cooperation with the Korean Energy Agency.
In the ceremony professors and experts in the field of alternative energy from Korea, the head of WE Energy Co., Ltd., representatives of Yashnabad district administration, and vice-chancellors of higher education institutions attended.
