OCTOBER 21 — UZBEK LANGUAGE DAY!

OCTOBER 21 — UZBEK LANGUAGE DAY!

OCTOBER 21 — UZBEK LANGUAGE DAY!

Language is the soul of a nation, a reflection of its national identity and spiritual heritage.

On October 21, 1989, the Uzbek language was granted the status of the state language, marking one of the most significant events in the history of our nation. For 37 years, this date has been widely celebrated as a symbol of deep respect and appreciation for our native language.

On behalf of the Ajou University in Tashkent community, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all our compatriots on Uzbek Language Day!

Our native language is a priceless legacy passed down by our great ancestors, embodying the rich history, culture, and centuries-old values of our people.

Today, as globalization and international cooperation continue to advance, the role of the Uzbek language in science, education, and international communication is becoming increasingly significant. As an international university, we value the harmony of diverse languages and cultures while considering it our important responsibility to promote the prestige and standing of our state language.

May our native language always be cherished, its status remain strong, and its future shine brightly!

Sincerely,
Rector of Ajou University in Tashkent
G. A. Muratov
