Independence day at Ajou University in Tashkent

   On September 1, the Republic of Uzbekistan will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its independence. Today, Uzbekistan is a stable, dynamically developing state that confidently follows its own path of development and conducts an independent foreign policy.

     One of the priorities of the reforms in Uzbekistan is to further improve the system of continuing education, increase the availability of high-quality educational services, and train highly qualified personnel in accordance with the current needs of the labor market. The development of improving the competitiveness of the country's education in the national and international labor markets is included in the concept of integrated socio-economic development of Uzbekistan until 2030.

     At Ajou University in Tashkent, which is established based on those reforms, held a holiday program dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the end of the academic year was rich in celebrities’ visits, awards ceremonies and musical programs.

     Having received the congratulations from the Rector of the University G.Muratov and the First Vice-Rector Lim Jay Ick, the holiday was officially declared open.

    After the musical opening, a prominent poet Bobur Bobomurod recited his poems dedicated to our Independence. Our famous athletes invited as guests, including Oksana Chusovitina, who took part in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics were greeted with special gifts from the university, flowers and applause.

  In order to boost the holiday mood, a prominent singer Normumin Sultanov and “Nihol” Award winners Nargiza Akmaljonova and Mominjon Sadridinov sang their hit songs.

  In the holiday program, the winners of soccer, table tennis and chess competitions held at the university were awarded by the participants of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

   At the end of the academic year, the winners of the "best" nominations, established by the university administration, were identified and awarded with special prizes.

    Khamrakulova Gulbahor, the coordinator of the A-101 group, won "The Best Group Coordinator" nomination for ensuring the stability of a healthy spiritual-moral and socio-psychological environment among teachers and students, the organization of spiritual and educational work at the required level. As well as, the leader of the group Islyamova Salge won "The Best Group Leader" nomination for following the requirements of the group, the principles and norms of ethics and active participation in the educational process.

     Ashirov Abdulkhafiz and Allayorov Dostonbek were the winners of "The Most Active Student" nomination, which was established for the prestige among students, active in public events, propaganda and other public affairs.

   Ruzieva Shabnam and Abraev Jurabek won "The Best Student" nomination for active and attentive study, for gaining the highest GPA and were awarded with special statuettes.

   The winners of 18 nominations, established by the department of English, were awarded with souvenirs by teachers Yu.Badelbaeva, N.Majidova, E.Shamsuvalieva.
