The "New Uzbekistan Student Olympiad" was successfully organized at Ajou University in Tashkent. The event aims to develop mass sports among young people, promote a healthy lifestyle, and support talented athletes.
This event is significant as a practical result of the systemic reforms implemented at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of physical education and sports.
The university consistently continues to develop sports infrastructure, build modern sports facilities, and create ample opportunities for regular sports activities for students and residents of the region.
As part of the event, the opening ceremonies of the Odil Akhmedov Football Academy and the Martial Arts Academy were held on the university campus. These projects will undoubtedly lead to an increase in sports culture among young people, the training of professional athletes, and the advancement of the industry to a new level.
The ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Makhmudov, the Uzbekistan Football Association, representatives of the country's leading sports federations, sports veterans, and the general public.
The fact that this Olympiad was held at Ajou University in Tashkent once again clearly demonstrated the important role of this educational institution in nurturing not only academically educated but also physically and spiritually developed, strong-willed, and goal-oriented youth.
