At Ajou University in Tashkent, a meeting was organized with Korean experts who discussed one of the global problems today - climate change.
Andy Hong, head of the Carbon Solution department, presented his business proposal at this meeting aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the efficiency of alternative energy use in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the Korean Energy Agency of the Republic of Korea introduced a new alternative energy product - bio-fuel (pellet) production from cottonwood waste in Uzbekistan was specially emphasized.
Then, the rector of the university, Gayrat Muratov, emphasized that he supports all initiatives related to climate change, and discussed about the "Energy Specialists Training Center" opened under Ajou University for the purpose of cooperation and retraining of experts in the field of energy.
