Korean national holiday of Chuseok was celebrated at Ajou University in Tashkent
This holiday, which is traditionally celebrated every year, means “Harvest Festival”. It is usually celebrated for three days from the 15th day of the eighth month on the lunar calendar, which coincides with the autumn harvest.
In Korea, these days close and distant relatives, family members and acquaintances gather around the table.
The celebration of Chuseok at AUT was organized in collaboration with Korean professors. Korean national songs and dances were performed at the celebration.
Speakers at the ceremony highlighted the mutual friendship between the two nations, national traditions and the ever-strengthening relations between our countries.
