On the third day of the “Uzbek-Korean Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions”, held by the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, members of the delegation of the Republic of Korea visited AUT.
During the visit, a garden of Uzbek-Korean friendship was laid on the territory of the university under the national project "Green Space". In this park, each Korean guest together with Uzbek students planted an ornamental tree. This tradition has become an expression of a firm desire to further strengthen relations between the two countries in the field of higher education.
Members of the Korean delegation got acquainted with the conditions created at the university and took part in a cultural and educational event prepared by students. Students of each department made presentations in their areas.
At the end of the event, the participants exchanged opinions on strengthening cooperation in the field of education, expanding the mutual experience and other relevant areas of mutually beneficial relations.
