On May 24, 2024, Ajou University in Tashkent hosted the Inter-regional Innovation Forum (iRIF) 2024, attracting esteemed attendees including DSc. G. Muratov, Rector of Ajou University in Tashkent, Mr. U. Abdullaev, Chief Specialist from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, DSc. A. Umarov, Rector of Tashkent University of Applied Sciences, and Dr. S. Turabdjanov, Rector of Tashkent State Technical University. The forum also saw participation from various professors, researchers, and industry representatives.
The iRIF 2024, held from May 21 to May 25, is organized by the Future Internet Lab Anhalt at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
Building on the success of previous conferences in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and North Macedonia, the forum aims to foster collaboration between German universities, SMEs, and research institutions, focusing on innovative research ideas to boost the innovation potential of German SMEs.
Key topics discussed included lithium extraction and exploitation, crucial for rechargeable batteries, with experts providing insights and sharing research advancements.
The format, emphasizing interaction and idea exchange, encouraged the development of new products and solutions through joint R&D projects.
Representatives from the energy sector, ministries, and funding organizations discussed potential funding opportunities for these innovations.
The event highlighted the importance of international collaboration in advancing technology and innovation, with participants looking forward to the realization of new projects and developments in the near future.
