On March 11 of this year, about 250 pupils of the Tashkent region took part in the Science Olympiad in mathematics (in English) held at secondary school No. 1 of Nurafshan city.
Today, the results of this Science Olympiad were confirmed by Korean professors.
The jury assessed the results of the Science Olympiad as follows:
1st - place: Sharifov Shokhrukh Shukhratjonovich, Chirchik city, school No. 15.
2nd - place: Abulkosimova Sarvinoz Otabek kizi, Ohangaron district, school No. 59.
3rd - place: Islamov Shokhrukh Temurovich, Yangiyul city, school No. 10.
These award-winning pupils have the right to study at Ajou University in Tashkent without an entrance exam on the basis of an A-type scholarship with an 80 percent discount from the tuition fee.
A total of 120 high-scoring Olympiad participants were able to enter the university without an entrance exam on the basis of a B-type scholarship with a 50 percent discount from the tuition fee.
