Prof. Kim Jong Ho from Korea Inha University visited Ajou University in Tashkent and discussed climate change as one of the global problems of the modern world. The dialog emphasized the impact of climate change on Central Asia. At the meeting, Prof. Kim Jung Ho informed that Ajou University in Tashkent will also participate in the project "Climate Change and Mitigation in Central Asia" funded by the Korean government. Under the project, it was noted that the university students will be supported in their research and projects on climate change prevention and mitigation. As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation on targeted and effective implementation of the project "Climate Change and Mitigation in Central Asia" was formalized.

On November 6, 2023, presidential elections were held at Ajou University! By a large margin, having gained lots of votes, Shakhboz Uktamov became the President of the Student Council of Ajou University for the 2023/2024 academic year.

On 25 October, he held a special discussion on "Tashkent Modernism" for students of the Faculty of Architecture at Ajou University in Tashkent.
