On 10th of October, AUT hosted a celebration of the Korean Hangul holiday. This important holiday commemorates the creation of the Korean alphabet Hangul, which is one of Korea's most significant cultural achievements.

The Rector of AUT, G. Muratov, participated in the 2nd "K-Water Society" international conference of Korea.  At the conference, the issues of increasing water efficiency, water treatment, and purification in the regions of Uzbekistan, as well as preventing the expected water shortage in Central Asian countries, were discussed. During the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between AUT, Korea's "K-Water" organization, and the "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University. It was agreed that the organizations would establish cooperation under the signed MoU.  At the end of the conference, the winners of the "Water Innovation Competition" contest awarded. In particular, the students of AUT were awarded the "Future Star Award" nomination

Korean national holiday of Chuseok was celebrated at Ajou University in Tashkent This holiday, which is traditionally celebrated every year, means “Harvest Festival”. It is usually celebrated for three days from the 15th day of the eighth month on the lunar calendar, which coincides with the autumn harvest.

AUТ is hosting a "Student League" in chess, volleyball and table tennis! This is an exciting competition that attracts a large number of students every day. Chess, volleyball and table tennis are not only sports, but also a great opportunity to develop your intellectual and physical abilities.

On 19 September 2023, with the participation of the Rector of the  Ajou University in Tashkent, G. Muratov held an "open lesson" discussion with the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Civil and Construction Engineering.. During the discussion the rector of the university talked to the students and answered their questions.  During the lesson the students were familiarised with information about Master's education, activities, the new academic building and changes in the educational system.

At AUT, favorable conditions have been created for students to spend their free time meaningfully. Currently, 10 social clubs are operating under the leadership of the "Student Union".  In addition, hundreds of our students are regularly engaged in sports activities in more than ten sports clubs.  Today, on September 21, 2023 was a significant day where each club was able to introduce itself at the exhibition. Each student was able to find a suitable activity for themselves and join a club of interests.
