Alexander Fedorov is an enthusiast and researcher of modernist architecture. He is the author of the @tashkent_modernism project, as well as a graphic designer and media artist of several adverts on Tashkent modernism. On 25 October, he held a special discussion on "Tashkent Modernism" for students of the Faculty of Architecture at Ajou University in Tashkent. Today, October 23, a group of Top Managers of AU visited AUT. The members of the delegation led by Mr. Ho Han, Head, AUT Project Management Office, Mr. Mincheol, Kang, Vice President for Planning, Mr. Jeong-Houn Son, Dean of Academic Affairs, Mr. Jeong Yong, Yoon, Director, Planning Team, Ms. Ju A Chang, Director, Budgeting Team got acquainted with the activities of AUT. During the meeting with the rector G. Muratov, organizational issues of the university, the systematic development of cooperation, and several important issues were discussed.

On October 20, Freshmen party in Cinefiesta style took place on the territory of our beautiful university. It was an unforgettable event filled with fun, music and dancing.  DJ Lee created a unique atmosphere with his modern musical compositions. The stars of the evening were talented girls from Dance club, who mesmerized everyone with their performances.  In addition,was organized food zone for the guests. We tried to create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere, so that each of you would feel like a part of the big Ajou family.

Prof Yuma Shinohara, representative of the Swiss Museum of Architecture S AM, conducted a seminar for AUT students. Prof Yuma Shinohara shared with the students the experiences and activities of S AM Swiss Museum. The lecture consisted of interesting facts, examples and inspiring thoughts. During the event, Mr. Andrea Rubi, Director of the Swiss Museum of Architecture, signed a memorandum of cooperation between the organizations.

On 10th of October, AUT hosted a celebration of the Korean Hangul holiday. This important holiday commemorates the creation of the Korean alphabet Hangul, which is one of Korea's most significant cultural achievements.

The Rector of AUT, G. Muratov, participated in the 2nd "K-Water Society" international conference of Korea.  At the conference, the issues of increasing water efficiency, water treatment, and purification in the regions of Uzbekistan, as well as preventing the expected water shortage in Central Asian countries, were discussed. During the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between AUT, Korea's "K-Water" organization, and the "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University. It was agreed that the organizations would establish cooperation under the signed MoU.  At the end of the conference, the winners of the "Water Innovation Competition" contest awarded. In particular, the students of AUT were awarded the "Future Star Award" nomination
