International Students' Day was celebrated today at AUT. Students participated in intellectual, sports and team games and tested their strength and potential. During the event, the winning students were awarded with gifts from the university administration.

"II - architectural workshop" has come to the end

"II - architectural workshop" has come to the end Today, November 17, the "II - Architectural Workshop" organized by students of Ajou, Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and Puchon University in Tashkent came to the end. Last week, architecture students from the three higher education institutions competed on the topic of  "Sustainable Waterfront Design in Tashkent". The organizers awarded souvenirs to the participants and winners of the workshop, currently taking place at Ajou University.

Korean students will visit Ajou University

Vice-rector of Ajou University Bahodir Kochkarov held a meeting with representative of Chungnam National University Kim Chang Ju and discussed issues of Korean students' visit to Uzbekistan. Now a group of students from Chungnam National University is planning to come to Tashkent during winter vacation to get acquainted with our culture and traditions. In turn, Vice-Rector B. Kochkarov emphasized that Ajou University is ready to provide Korean students with accommodation and practical assistance for the implementation of all activities during the visit. Also during the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further development of cooperation between higher education institutions in the future.

Ajou University participates in a project on climate change mitigation

Prof. Kim Jong Ho from Korea Inha University visited Ajou University in Tashkent and discussed climate change as one of the global problems of the modern world. The dialog emphasized the impact of climate change on Central Asia. At the meeting, Prof. Kim Jung Ho informed that Ajou University in Tashkent will also participate in the project "Climate Change and Mitigation in Central Asia" funded by the Korean government. Under the project, it was noted that the university students will be supported in their research and projects on climate change prevention and mitigation. As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation on targeted and effective implementation of the project "Climate Change and Mitigation in Central Asia" was formalized.
