The students who are intelligent, creative, aspiring, and independent thinking are being created comfortable conditions and opportunities for studying effectively in Ajou niversity in Tashkent. In his address to the Oliy Majlis, the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev states that Mir Alisher Navoi, the great poet and founder of Uzbek literature, appealed to young people in his time and said: "If you want to sunshine, make a profession". Indeed, a person who intends to shine a gracious light on people like the sun and willing to give a hand must master various sciences and professions. He also asserts that such achievements as our great ancestor said cannot be gained today without a thorough study of foreign languages. In the current year, Shavkat Mirziyoyev has proposed to make the study of foreign languages as a priority [3]. One of the main tasks of the university is to train specialists, effectively organize lessons and strengthen the responsibility of teachers in education process.
In addition to report, there are high qualified lectors and instructors who were conducted in foreign universities and each one has international certificates like IELTS, TESL, TESOL and others. Via learnt techniques, methods and criteria professors teach our future specialists. Not only that but also the university creates up-to-date techniques and contemporary lessons which attract both students and teachers as well .

There several factors, let’s look through them:
The needs and requirements for the socio-cultural, professional activities of future foreign language teachers require the introduction of innovative teaching technologies, active methods and new forms and ways of teaching. At the same time, independent work, group work projects, research and problem-solving elements are required to be included in the activities of students [4].
The instructors of the course “English communication” use various approaches in teaching students in the university.
In this report, there is illustrated the process of the course of “English communication” in Ajou University in Tashkent.
As it has mentioned,” Opening ceremony “was held on February, 1st, 2021. The lessons started from 2nd February. The difference from other national universities the lessons were organized only by syllabus and curriculum which has been simplified.
In the first lesson, English instructors introduced the course overview in the orientation week. The students received information in terms of course programs, syllabus, assessment and assignments. On the same day, the instructors prepared the survey related to students’ need analysis. The aim of survey was defining students’ levels, planning the lesson according to the learners’ needs. In accordance with survey, students offered outdoor activities in the course of English Communication. In addition, new techniques such as “article mapping” and “future project” have been included to lesson plans by English instructors.
In the article mapping, students as a group team should work on the given article by instructors. The students should prepare posters via the structure of mind mapping after analyzing the article. The major objective is developing students’ overview and intensive reading, and picking up the key features of the article.
The “project work” consists of two parts. In the first part students have to present their specialty and investigate new idea related to their future profession. In the second part, the learners should organize “video and role play” according to their interests. Per work by students is uploaded to the site of ajou.uz.
One of the special feature of the course, the interval grading was held distinctively. The exam is divided into two sections:
One of the special sides of exam, the question tasks have been compiled by students’ levels. On the horizon, the final examination of the semester will be taken the same structure as midterm.

As the instructors in the university mainly educate Students from General English and English as specific purposes (ESP), this approach can particularly be preferable and usable for teaching a language. It also focused on integrated skills, which covers all four skills namely, Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in Language Acquisition. Furthermore, the instructors highly considered to choose the book with high interest topics, which cover four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking that is one of the content of the communicative approach.
In addition, the instructors use the Affective Humanistic Approach (AH) as it allows students' feelings as a priority while acquiring the target language. The Affective humanistic Approach has many benefits for the students to remove barriers in language acquisition. Firstly, the role of human/learner is priority in this approach. Secondly, it allows the students feel comfortable in class, using various wonderful techniques that can raise the mood and refresh their mind. Finally, due to the AH approach teacher can build up a good relationship with their students. The teachers apply dramatization and multiple concerts in class at the end of each month as a project work. Because, involving students dancing and singing the instructors make students have unforgettable day in their life. In addition, the students have a strong desire to play games or roles after serious topic or lessons. The role-play is the most preferred technique for teachers as well as the students.
Teaching techniques, by English language instructors
The teaching techniques are various from each other, which help students, gain attention and inspire to acquire the target language. Mostly, the techniques are prepared according to the nine events Dr. Robert Gagne's instructional design theory. In following the nine steps of Gagne’s “Events of instruction” are given:
Using this adaptive model, teachers can prepare well-organized lesson plans and connect with students in a way that is suitable to their learning styles in any given circumstance. Through this manner, students can produce more optimal learning outcomes [5].
The instructors mainly consider the first event “Gaining the attention of the students” since it has the most powerful quality that allow student having interest to the lesson or topic. If the teacher uses some effective techniques to gain students' attention from the very beginning of a lesson, s/he can achieve his/her teaching objectives. In addition, it can really help the teachers who are going to conduct lesson for their new class. As majority language teachers state that, the class or student can assess the teachers in six seconds by observing their using techniques. In order to make good impression on the students or gain attention, a teacher should use effective warm-ups as they begin the lesson. Furthermore, the English language instructors of Ajou University follow the 80 (practice)/20(teaching rule) or student-centered techniques as it is vital for students to practice the target language they will be using in real life situation. For this reason, the instructors in the university pay much attention to conduct lessons with enthusiastic activities such as game; IT questions, jokes related to the topic, extraordinary facts to gain the interest to the topic.
