The Daewoo Educational Foundation was established in March 1977. The main goal of the fund is to train qualified personnel by supporting the education sector.

Today, the Daewoo Educational Foundation is currently operating the activities of Ajou University and Ajou Motor College, as well as Korea's leading Ajou University Medical Center. Through the systematic curriculum of Ajou University and Ajou Motor College, 3,000 world-class engineers and managers are being nurtured each year. Ajou University Medical Center, a tertiary medical institution with 1,098 beds, has 32 departments, dozens of special clinics, specialized centers, etc. The Center is providing the best medical service to 4,000 patients every day.

On December 18, 2022, Mr. Ho Suk Choo, the Chairman of the Daewoo Education Foundation made an official visit to Uzbekistan.

Today, on December 19, a delegation led by Mr. Ho Suk Choo held a welcoming ceremony at AUT. The guests got acquainted with the conditions created at the university, and a ceremony of planting decorative trees was held as a part of the "Green Space" nationwide project.

Starting from the academic year 2022/2023, the funding of Uzbek students to study at Ajou University in Korea has been launched by the Daewoo Education Fund. In the first semester of the current academic year, three students as well as seven students in the second semester received grants from the Fund.

Mr. Ho Suk Choo had a lively conversation with Uzbek students who are going to study in Korea. In addition, the distinguished guest conducted a workshop for young people at the Student Union. At the end of the visit, Mr. Ho Suk Choo got acquainted with the second stage of the reconstruction of the campus and gave the necessary consultations.
