High-level meetings and talks are being held on the occasion of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea.
As part of the talks, Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Abdukadir Tashkulov visited Ajou University, a leading higher education institution in Korea in the fields of electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, fermentation chemistry engineering and industrial management.
University President Hyungju Park introduced the conditions created on the campus for students to receive quality education and spend their free time meaningfully, in particular, classrooms, library activities, and sports rooms.
After that, an open dialogue meeting was held between the two sides. The results of inter-university cooperation, the current level of relations and future plans were discussed at the meeting.
In particular, special attention was paid to the expansion of academic exchange programs between students and professors, the launch of new joint research projects, the organizing seminars, training courses and master classes by university specialists in higher education institutions of the country.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the establishment of new promising areas and specialties, in particular, in the field of "green economy", "green energy".
During the visit, the Minister met with Uzbek students studying at the university and conducting research.
During the conversation, he was interested in the views of students on education, student life in the country, as well as the current situation and opportunities in Uzbekistan in recent years, reforms in science and education.
