On September 12 , "Cheosok" Korean national holiday was celebrated at Ajou University in Tashkent.
This festival, which is traditionally celebrated by the Korean people, means "Harvest Festival".
It is usually celebrated for three days on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar. On these days, distant relatives, family members and acquaintances gather around the table.
Korean national dances and songs were performed at the celebration held by the university, and Korean food made a great impression on the participants of the event.
Mr. Park, the head of the "Uzbekistan-Korea" friendship society, and Z. Abidov, the head of the department of the committee of international relations and friendly relations with foreign countries under the Cabinet of Ministers, participated in the ceremony as guests.
