Establishing mutual cooperation in training personnel in the field of energy on November 23, 2022, a delegation headed by Mr. Sang Xun Li, President of the Korean Energy Agency, visited AUT.

During the visit, the establishment of the "Energy Expert Training Center" at AUT was discussed.

In order to increase energy efficiency in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the center organizes short-term training courses for the improvement of the qualifications of specialists working in the energy sector.

In addition, it is planned to implement a project to install solar energy technology (including a 40 kW solar panel) in the territory of the university as a trial test in 2023. Also, within the framework of the project, preliminary feasibility studies on the use of solar energy and solar module localization will be developed.

At the end of the event, Mr. Sang Hoon Lee, President of the Korea Energy Agency, planted a tree on the campus. The tree planted by the President of the Agency serves as one of the symbols of friendship between our peoples.
